Our Itinerary:

From huaraz we will drive to the east toward the mountains on unpaved way until pitec settlement at 3850 m high where is the parking site, from where we start hiking up to Lake, on quite pleasant trail and stony ridge towards the mountain of Nevado Churup in the distance, until reach the waterfall cascaded down from the hidden lake above, and we could see clearly the trail winds upon the cliff side.

Where we will climb up using cables bolted into the rock cliff face to keep balance, passing it we could see a small stream down from the lake then we cross it and we follow walking up over the final crest, and came upon Laguna Churup, at 4450 m, the lake is nestled at the base of mount churup too with impressive view, The water is perfectly clear, with azure blue, green, and orange deposits on the rocks below the surface near shore.

If a good weather we will look a suitable place on the rock edge to sit and enjoy watching the most gorgeously mountain scenery view, after that we will back on the same path until Pitec, where we will take our private transportation to back Huaraz
